Most fairy tales, myths and religious parables have SOME basis in fact although those facts may have become so bowdlerized that there is barely any connection that remains. Take "Hansel and Gretel." Indeed there was a story - that could not have been told publicly at the time - behind the Grimm Brother's version and those brother did indeed know the real-life events very well. From their own experience.
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm were many years ahead of their in the way they sublimated their forbidden experiences and desires into acceptable forms, in fact into children's stories that would cause thousands of children to develop the Grimms' own _s_e_x_ual and social characteristics, never knowing the source to be hidden stories under the familiar tales.
Hansel and Gretel were a brother and sister. That much is true. They lived a mile or so from the Grimms as they were growing up. The experience that lies under the surface of the fairy tale occurred when both Grimm brothers were in their twenties. Hansel and Gretel - yes, they were twins - were both 19 years old and in a way that would be just as striking today as it was then, extremely beautiful.
Hansel and Gretel sported smooth pink complexions, large and lovely blue eyes, and thick blond hair, braided in Gretel's case, cut just above shoulder length for Hansel. Jacob Grimm lusted for Gretel- which is another story that does not belong on this website. It was Wilhelm, the homo_s_e_x_ual brother, whose story I here report.
Given the beauty of the twins, it is no wonder the ordinary looking Grimm brothers coveted the sight of them, especially as the number of people they saw in a typical week would have been fewer than 25, none of which equalled the twins in beauty.
Wilhelm particularly lusted after Hansel. The boy - dressed in tight ledehosen and a red shirt - passed the Grimm cottage daily. Wilhelm tried to be in the yard or at least at the window at the somewhat unpredictable time of Hansel's passing.
On the day from which legend grew, Wilhelm was in the yard. Both he and his brother - typical for their place and time - bathed in the yard during the warm seasons of the year. Wilhelm was stripped naked, pouring basins of cool water over his head and shoulders. Rivulets of the water, which he had gathered from a brook nearby, ran down his back and between his big buttcheeks and also down the hairy front of his body, to flow in a stream off the end of his rather small penis.
In the midst of his bathing, he heard something behind him, and, in fear of it being a bear, whirled around defensively. There only a foot or two away stood handsome Hansel. Momentarily undaunted by his nudity, Wilhelm scanned the boy's face and body. His face was flushed (with embarrassment or lust?) and there was a happy bulge in the front of the boy's lederhosen!
Freely translated from the German, Wilhelm scowled at Hansel and snarled, "What is your problem? Are you spaying on me?" and he stepped towards the boy, poking at his chest with a stiff finger.
"N-n-n-no!" stammered Hansel or more accurately "N-n-n-nein!"
"Well, your manners are horrible! You come inside with me! I will teach you a lesson!" and bending with his ass towards the boy, Wilhelm picked up his own discarded clothing and led the way into the cottage.
Now Jacob Grimm happened to be away, in the village, gathering supplies for the brothers. Wilhelm was alone, with the most desirable creature he had ever seen, and with a good reason to make the lad uncomfortable.
