Barn Storm

by Jerry Allemann And Dave Bradley <Spanka@btinternet.com>

Jerry just pedalled madly up the driveway to the back door, dumped his bicycle and walked in to the kitchen. He has just raced Pete home and beaten him by a few minutes. As Jerry enters the kitchen he feels an atmosphere. He thinks he hears Simon and Jason sniffing back tears in the front room. Peering through the crack of the kitchen door in to the backroom he can see dad reading the paper- a frown on his face and a sneaker on his lap. Pete comes in to the kitchen, panting heavily from trying to catch up. The door from the backroom opens and dad framed in the doorway fixes both of them with a stare. "Ah! I've been waiting for you two - go join Jason and Simon in the front room, face the wall and wait there for me." Dad picks up the paper again and sits down in his chair – the boys glance over his shoulder through the back window as they pass through the room and see the recently white painted barn wall - and some inappropriate messages in spray paint!

Again, Jerry finds himself in the now familiar position of facing the wall with hands on head! This time not only joined by Pete but with their younger brothers Simon and Jason. Jerry is wondering, who would spray those messages on the barn wall that Pete and he have recently painted. Well, he will soon find out!

Jerry looks across at Simon and Jason each in his own corner and he can just see on Jason's cotton shorts that he has a light green spray paint mark where it looks as if he has wiped it with his hand. A glance across at Simon's corner shows several paint spots on his shorts too. Pete, standing next to Jerry, has also glanced round and then says "Jerry – when Dad went out this morning he told us to keep an eye on Simon and Jason and I think they got up to mischief ....and I don't think we should have gone off for three hours cycling through the forest without dad's say so anyways ...." Simon and Jason are still snivelling – Dad must have bawled them out real good and now they are waiting where they must have been since dad came home at 5.30. It is now 6.15.

"You are right Pete, we should have not gone out cycling, but it was a great day for doing it how could we have passed up the chance. And I would have never thought our 10 and 9 year old brothers would have done something stupid like spray paint on the barn wall. The worst that I did when I was really little was crayon on the wall in the house, mom spanked me and gave me corner time and then I was 3 years old! I bet we will have to repaint the barn wall and probably we are in trouble for not watching Simon and Jason. Maybe, dad will allow us to spank Simon and Jason for what they did to our new paint job and then again maybe we will get spanked for not watching them better...."

Dad walks in to the room – he is no longer carrying the sneaker. "OK all of you turn around." Simon and Jason are shaking now – tears pour down their faces. "Well I guess you two young boys know what's gonna happen to you now don't you?" both nod and hang their heads down. "As for you two –" Dad faces Jerry and Pete " I told you this morning to watch Simon and Jason – you're both old enough to look after your little brothers. Well it's tough for you two that these guys got in to mischief so I know you weren't where you were supposed to be..... and you've been gone for three hours so I'm going to be looking for some pretty good explanations here. YOU DID NOT THINK!" Dad's voice is well raised now as he walks over and grabs each by an ear. "First what would have happened if those two silly little boys had set fire to the barn instead of painting it? Huh? – I don't know how many of my sons are in the barn because I don't know WHERE THE HELL YOU ARE either – you went off cycling – I don't know where you are I don't know where you've gone – I don't know where to look for you if you don't come back – I don't know if someone's kidnapped you – harmed you – have you had an accident – Well you're gonna be sorry like these two are gonna be sorry FOUR stupid, inconsiderate thoughtless little boys in one house is FOUR STUPID BOYS TOO MANY. Well if you're gonna think with your brains in your butt then I am going to communicate through your butts" Dad let's go the ears and stands Jerry and Pete apart backs against the wall as he walks over to their two crying little brothers and brings them centre room. Dad has picked Jason up and is holding him under his left arm, feet off floor, arm wrapped around Jason's waist as he pulls down the cotton shorts and briefs and dumps them on the floor. Jason's little white butt is facing Pete and Jerry as his legs kick about and his tears turn to sobs of anticipation..... . Jerry thinks to himself, he doesn't dare speak out because he knows what he did was wrong. Boy, did we screw up again, we should have stayed here and not gone cycling without permission, we should have waited until Dawn was here and she could have watched Simon and Jason. Not much we can do now, it has happened and we have to wait our turn for Dad to get to us, this is going to be a long wait poor Pete he is the oldest and will have to watch each of us till it is turn, isn't it terrible to have two little brothers, two naughty little brothers!!!

There is a crescendo of crying from Jason. Dad's technique is different with the younger boys. His hand is working fast and landing lots of light smacks seconds apart – they watch Jason's butt go from white to pink to scarlet under the rapid fire of dad's hand – almost sounds like a round of applause: clap clap clap slap slap slap. Jason wriggles and struggles and kicks as he is held firmly under dad's arm yelling and kicking. Slap slap slap slap. Jerry glances at the clock. Dad has had Jason under his arm for a couple of minutes since pulling his pants off and he reckons he has landed around eighty slaps as he puts Jason back in the corner and comes back to Simon. Simon is crying too "no dad plaese dad" as his pants come off and he is in the same position as Jason – it is noticeable that there are already a couple of swat marks on Simon's butt – Jerry surmises that Simon already had a couple of swats from the sneaker at some point. "Well Simon I don't know where you learned those words you sprayed up there with Jason and you better unlearn them pretty quickly otherwise those two smacks I gave you with the sneaker will be a dozen next time. Now you're going to get spanked for spraying anything on the barn at all – I won't have any little vandals in this house" Once again the crescendo of sobs as dad's hand starts in rapid fire mode – but perhaps these smacks are a little harder than those Jason had as Simon's butt turns fiery after just a dozen or so and dad's hand is going at forty a minute – slap slap slap – clap clap clap .....

Again Jerry is thinking to himself, well I may be next. How will Dad spank me, I bet Pete and I will get the sneaker since we are bigger and should have known better than to go riding off like we did. Jerry is feeling a little sorry for his younger brothers that they are getting a spanking but he knows full well they deserve it for what they did to the newly painted barn wall. Jerry thinks I hope Dad doesn't want them to help us repaint it they will only make a bigger mess for Pete and me.

Simon is back in his corner now facing the wall. Both little brothers are crying hard, sobbing almost in unison, their red butts glowing out. "Peter, Jerry turn face the wall again." Dad comes and stands between you. "I am vexed and disappointed in you two boys. You can be sure that if you had been here your little brothers wouldn't have sore butts now because you wouldn't have let them do that would you? Well you're going to be real sorry that your brothers earned themselves a spanking and they've earned you one too. AND you've earned yourselves a spanking too for going off on some mad ass caper on your bicycles without making sure someone knew where you were going ." Dad picks up Simon and Jason's pants from the floor and goes out of the room leaving the four of you on your own.

"Pete, I don't know about you brother, but this waiting is always the hardest part, and trying to think just what is going to happen to us.

Since Dad gave Simon and Jason a hand spanking that is what he will give us, you know he likes to treat us all fair, right Pete?"

"We're bigger boys than Simon and Jason Jerry - and we were supposed to watch them and dad's mad at us for going ride about without telling him and ..." Pete stops suddenly as the door opens and dad comes in. He walks straight past you and Pete and calls Jason and Simon to him. He pulls the two boys close to his chest and tousles their hair. "Now then Simon you'd better have forgotten those words and both of you don't even think of doing anything like that again" The sniffs die down as the boys are hugged close to dad and they hug back. Slowly their tears begin to dry. "Right you two had better go apologise to your big brothers who have some work to do"

Jason runs over and hugs round Jerry's legs and through cries says "sorry I spoilt your work Jerry" Simon is hugging Pete...

"Thanks guys we accept your apologies, we know that all of us do things that we shouldn't do, don't even think about doing it after Pete and I repaint the wall! And Jason, were did you learns words like you wrote?"

"OK Simon, Jason – upstairs, jammies on and in to bed"

"But dad it's only quarter to seven.."

"GET TO BED" Jason and Simon scurry from the room recognising that dad is in no mood to tolerate argument tonight. "Well you two what am I going to do with you?. You let me down good again and you let yourselves down too – well first off you can both get changed in to your working clothes – the ones you got paint on and get out there and repaint that wall. We have a couple of hours daylight left and the yard floodlight – and while your painting that barn wall again you can think on about what happens after ....."

"Hey Pete, here we go again, I hate having to do a job twice don't you? What do you think Dad will do to us, I bet he uses our sneakers to spank us, lets get a lot of paint on them then when Dad spanks us he will get a lot of paint all over his hands, that will be neat to see his reactions! I would like to know where those little lads learn these words from? It will take a lot of white paint to cover up that green paint they used, well at least we get to stay up later, maybe if we get done too late Dad will be too tired to spank us and then by tomorrow he will forgotten about it all after he sees the nice job we will do on the barn wall, well brother we may as well whistle while we work and make it appear that we are enjoying what we are doing!!!"

"Well bro I reckon if we overdose the sneakers dad will find something else to use and I sure as hell don't want to meet up with that strop again ....and dad says we've got two hours to finish this and you know what he is like if we are late home so perhaps if we are too late finishing he's gonna use that 5 minutes
