This is a true story about the 14 year old son of a friend of mine. I was asked to try to straighten him out. He was out of control, And his parents didn't know what to do. The boy is now 15, And he has lived with my family and I since last June.
I got a call from Jeremy's dad. He was arrested on a Friday night last summer for drinking underage, purse snatching, and breach of probation. His dad left him in jail till I got there, Then we went and bailed him out. He's only 14, And he's already got a criminal record like you wouldn't believe! He's also becoming a bad influence on his 12 year old brother. Anyway, When we got back to Jeremy's house, His dad told him that he wasn't going to put up with it anymore, And he was going to send him to live with us till he straightens out. Of course he argued about this, (That kid's got a mouth like you wouldn't believe). I told him that he can go to school with Alvin (my son). He said he's NOT going to school. His dad told him that he's going to have a pretty sore bum if he doesn't. I told Alvin to take him to the rec room and talk to him and tell him about the rules at our house and what happens is you break the rules. Alvin said Jeremy laughed and called him a wimp, And said HE was never spanked. Alvin told him that that would change if he didn't behave at OUR house.
On Saturday morning, His mom caught him stealing one of her cigarettes. When she told him to put it back, He told her to _f_u_c_k_ off and mind her own business. My wife happened to hear this, And she came down the basement and told Jeremy's dad and I. We went upstairs, And I told Jeremy to go to his room and strip, And wait for me. I said that he was about to get something he's needed for a long time. (His dad had given me permission to do whatever I felt was necessary to straighten him out). My wife and Jeremy's mom went outside, Because they didn't want to hear it. Anyway, Jeremy said "No way man, You're not touching me". I took off my belt right there and then, And hit him across the legs. He hollered, And ran to his room. I told him that he better be naked when I got there, Or he would get it worse. I went to the bathroom, and got the wooden bath brush (It's about 18 inches long, And I think it's more painful than a hairbrush). I went into his room, And he was standing there IN HIS CLOTHES. I told him to strip NOW! He started crying and pleading with me, But I said he should have thought of that BEFORE he started to be such a smart ass. I ALMOST felt sorry for him because he looked really scared.
He took off his clothes, All except his underwear. I said "them too", You're getting this bare". He said "no way", So I grabbed the waistband and ripped his underwear off him. Then I threw him face-down on the bed and pinned his hands behind his back, And started wailing away on his bare ass with the belt. I gave him a bare ass whipping that he'll NEVER forget. Then, I sat on the bed and put him over my knee, And picked up the bath brush. I told him that this was for not stripping when I told him to. I gave him about 30 hard licks with the bath brush. He was REALLY screaming. When I let him up, He was running all over the room rubbing his butt. I made him stand in the corner with his hands on his head.
I left him there and went into the living room where his dad was. My wife and Jeremy's mom came back in, And I got out a couple of beers and we talked for about 30 minutes. Then I went to the bedroom and brought out Jeremy (still naked), And made him stand in front of his parents and apologize for his behavior. Then, I told him to go to his room and think about this. He stayed in his room till we were ready to come home on Sunday morning.
Since we got home, He's been mostly good. He's been polite, And he calls me Sir and ny wife Ma'am. He's got chores to do, Just like Alvin. I got him registered in school Monday morning. Angie gave him a note saying that he didn't have to take gym, Because he's still in pain and Alvin said his butt is black and blue.
I've had to spank him a few more times, But he's getting better. He doesn't steal anymore. I just hope his parents use the same discipling when he goes back home. He probably won't get in any more trouble if he knows what the punishment will be. But we'll see.
