This follows on from My History Part one
Nine year old Peter was enjoying his new life with his adoptive parents.
His new mother was a nice lady and, even though he had always washed himself at the orphange, Peter liked being undreessed and bathed at the end of his busy August days. His mother cuddled and hugged him and made him feel safe. When he did somthing wrong like get his play clothes durty in the garden, mother would tell him off but in a kindly way. Peter had not forgotten about the meeting he had had with his new father the first evening he arrived at his new home and he was trying to be a good boy.
Peter missed his friends but was looking forward , a little nervously, to the start of his new school in the nearby town. he hoped the country boys would like him. he hoped he could keep up with his school work and do well to please his new parents.
Peter could tell that his father was a strict man and he received lots of reminders and stern looks whenever the man was at home. Still he had not been ounkshed yet and he had been here for nearly two weeks.
This weekend coming his new headmaster and his wife will be coming for Sunday lunch. Mr and Mrs Riggs are friends of his new parents and Peter is pleased that this is the case and is looking forward to the day. His fahetr has warned him to be very polite and Peter is being dressed by his mother in some new white underpants, grey knee kength socks, smart new shorts, and a short sleeved shirt. As mother buttons up his shirt for him and combes his hair she tells him how smart he looks. He goes to his fathers study for an inspection and turns around so that his father can see the front and back view. Father is very pleased. Pater is an attractive looking boy.
Mr and Mrs Riggs arrived for lunch and Peter ate the meal as well as he could. He thought that Mrs Riggs looked nice but she had a funny lady smell. Mr Riggs was clearly a good friend of his fathers and he was pleased about that. Mr Riggs smiled at Peter a lot and Peter smiled back.
He remembered to speak only when he was spoken to and was very polite. In fact he was desperately looking forward to the walk in the nreaby fields that his father had promised after lunch. He wanted to get away from the formality of the table and run and cahes in the lanes. Peter remembered to call his father 'daddy' and his mother 'mummy' whenever he addressed them.
Peter looked out of the window. It was a fine, early September day and the sun was shining. Soon there would be conckers to collect in the woods. hwe wondered if the boys at his new svhool would be any good at the game. He had a sixer last year.
After Peter had helped his mother tidy the dishes away it was time for his father and Mr Riggs to take Peter for a walk. It was still warm and so they set off for the field and woods in their Sunday clotes with Peter being told to make sure he did not fall over and get his new clothes in a mess. Peter promised and was allowed to run ahead of the men.
Paters dad looked at the boy happy and running fast. he had a good athletes figure, slim waist and well defined buttocks.
'Are the boys still caned at school these days' Peters father asked Mr Riggs.
Mr Riggs took his eyes off the boy in front and truned to Peters father ' yes, but I only use it for rather bad behaviour, I use the slipper more often. Why do you ask.?''
''I hope that Peter will enter the grammar school in two years time and I think he has not been given the right sort of encouragement at the orphanage. I would like the boy to have every opportunity and encouragement, if you know what I mean, to do well. He may have to be worked hard to meet his potential.''
''Have you tested his ability with reading or his maths or general knowledge'; Mr Riggs enquired
''Yes and I think he may need some extra work but I really do not know the standard that the boy should have reached so I will be in your hands with that''
Peters father called out to Peter ''come here and walk with us for a while now Peter''peter looked round immediately and Mr Riggs saw how brighty the boys eyes shone. Here was a boy who clearly was bright, alert and very fit. He would do well at his school with the right encouragement. Mr Riggs was already putting his hands into the waistband of Peters white underwear in his mind, as the boy ran back towards the men.
Mr Riggs and Peters dad took one hand each and Peter walked and skipped between the two men. Each man squeezed the small boys hand a little as they walked along. Mr Riggs was looking forward to personally testing this young boy in his study after school duting the first few datys of term.
Peters father was also looking forward to receiving regular reports of his sons progress.
Peter felt happy to be walking with the adults but after a short whilke he wanted to run off again. he asked 'may I run ahead now please'?
His father looked at the boy sternly 'ask me again correctly Peter please'
Peter looked up and Mr Riggs noted the glance of apprehension in his face
''sorry daddy, may I run ahead again now daddy' the boy asked.
''Peters father looked at the boy and smiled ''yes Peter, you may, but any further slip ups today and I shall be meeting you at bedtime in my study for a reminder with my cane....off you run then ''.
