My friend said nothing, because he ran up the block, and watched from up there (later he said he wanted to make sure he wasn't next). If my friend tol my college buddies, I'm not aware of it. He and I talked about it, and he agreed I was acting like a spoiled brat, and I'm lucky all the guy used was his hand.
Did I learn a lesson. Yes. From then on, I was more respectful, and less likely to mouth off at my elders. It also humbled me in a way that I wouldnever have been humbled without it. Also taught me I was not too old to spank. Yes my dad spanked me up until about 14. Not all the time, and never as hard as this guy. I still get spanked to this day when I need it, although I have to seekout the discipline. I also welcome the ability to blister a bottom that needs it. I believe in it as an effective tool to change even an adult whose gotten too big for hs britches. I owe it all to that foreman who had te sense to put this college brat over his knee.
