Poem: Small Boy's Lament

by Will Faber <will_faber@wyrm.supernews.com>

"Oh, I cannot go out and play in the yard!
No, I cannot go out and play,
'Cause my Daddy just spanked me so hard, so hard
And took all my pants away!

"Daddy says little boys need their bottoms spanked bare,
For a spanking, to work, has to hurt.
But he then makes me run around (It's just not fair!)
In my underpants, socks, shoes and shirt!

"Now I look out the window: I want to go play,
But then I would be in a jam,
'Cause my Daddy has taken my pants away,
So I can't go outside as I am!

"My big brother comes up, gently pats my behind,
Says:"Go on, it might do you good.
And you're just nine years old, so nobody will mind!"
I say, "Somebody will mind,- I would!

"'Cause if one of the big boys like Randy or Sid
Saw me running around dressed this way,
He'd yell: "Where are your pants? Hey, you dumb little kid!"
And they'd tease me a year and a day!

So, I cannot go out and play in the yard!
No, I cannot go out and play,
'Cause my Daddy just spanked me so hard, so hard,
And took all my pants away!
